English for Power Engineering

            “English for Power Engineering” is intended for professional engineers working in the field as well as for the students majoring in “Power Engineering” and other learners of English interested in this area of professional activity.

            Learners of different ages and stages of language competence (starting from pre-intermediate) will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the topics dealing with power engineering issues (“Transport”, “Engines and Motors”, “Types of Engines”, “Internal Combustion Engines”, etc.), learn or refresh their vocabulary in these areas of English, work on both receptive and productive skills (reading, listening, writing and speaking), and improve their command of the technical English in general.

            The aim of the course is to build up the knowledge and skills necessary to communicate effectively in English in the professional sphere connected with power engineering at work.
