Course Purpose

The purpose of the discipline “Managing Subject–Object Relationships in Business Processes” is to develop in students a sufficient level of theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the design, adoption, and organization of managerial decision-making aimed at:

  • ensuring the uninterrupted operation of production systems,
  • establishing and coordinating core production processes,
  • and supporting effective management of manufacturing enterprises and corporations through a solid theoretical foundation.

The course focuses on understanding business processes as decision and control systems, where subjects (decision-makers) interact with objects (resources, tasks, information, and value) under conditions of organizational and technological constraints.

Course Objectives

The objectives of the discipline are to:

  • master the structure, content, design, and analysis of the concept of a business process, and to understand the necessity of its rational organization;
  • introduce the fundamental principles underlying the design of business processes in corporations, their specific features, and their practical application;
  • develop an understanding of modern approaches to managing corporate activities, with emphasis on decision-making and process governance;
  • provide students with foundational knowledge in business process theory, enabling them to successfully pursue advanced studies within the specialization “Management of Innovative Business Processes.”
